          On January 23, 2008, California Water Service Group (the “Company”) issued a press release (a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference) announcing (i) the declaration of a quarterly dividend of $0.2925 per common share payable on February 15, 2008, to stockholders of record on February 4, 2008, and (ii) that it had set the date of its Annual Stockholders Meeting to be May 27, 2008.
